Meet Rachel

Your Healthy Living Coach

Rachel has enjoyed 35 years – and counting – in the health, fitness and wellbeing industry, as a Gym Owner, Personal Trainer, Pre and Postnatal Exercise Specialist, Aqua Instructor, In Home Carer, Workplace Trainer and Assessor and Writer.

During her 15 years as owner of The Health Hub fitness studio, Rachel combined her love of personal training with the experience of running a small business. She juggled learning new fitness skills with doing her BAS, completing her Yoga Instructor training with treadmill maintenance.

Via her creation of the Glowing Expectations pre and postnatal face to face and online programs, Rachel worked alongside Obstetricians and Physios. She shared the bump to baby journey with over 3000 women and found her nanny experience was as valued as her fitness knowledge!


Rachel saw a great need for a more specialised service looking after older adults who were seeking to manage medical conditions and stay active. She created a unique in home service combining exercise, connection and care, looking after clients into their 80s and 90s.

Believing in the importance of educating the fitness professionals of the future, Rachel spent 12 years as a Practicum Placement Supervisor for students studying Exercise Physiology at UNSW. She has also been a Mentor, Workplace Trainer, Assessor and Content Writer for the Fitness Industry.

Rachel’s businesses and ideas have been featured in The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Telegraph, Mother & Baby and Pregnancy & Birth, as well as on Channel 7’s Sunrise. A well recognised health and fitness author, Rachel spent 2 years as resident writer for Bondi Beauty, wrote a ‘Move of the Week’ column for The Sunday Telegraph’s Body & Soul section, and was a regular contributor to The Medical Republic, a national publication for GPs.
